HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — One woman is dead following a late night accident in Beaver County.

The crash happened around midnight on Interstate 376 in Hopewell Township.

State police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Lisa Kriger of Crescent Township.

According to state police, she was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of her car while navigating a right curve in the road.

Kriger’s vehicle left the road, went up an embankment, hit a guide rail and then rolled over, state police said. She was thrown from the vehicle in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate.
