Police: No Fowl Play In Turkey Crash
PENN HILLS (KDKA) — A wild turkey, estimated to weigh between 15 to 20 pounds, crashed through the window of the Eat ‘N Park in Penn Hills.
The crash sent shards of glass flying everywhere, as the double-pane glass window shattered.
Penn Hills Police Officer Bernard Sestili told KDKA-TV he found the turkey dead on the dining room floor.
“It was comical, ironic on Thanksgiving that a turkey flies into the window of a restaurant,” Sestili said.
The restaurant was closed at the time because of the holiday.
