Report: Local Officer Killed In McKean Co. Crash

WETMORE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Three people were killed in a crash in McKean County early Saturday morning.

According to State Police, the crash happened on State Route 66 in Wetmore Township around 1:30 a.m.

The pickup truck being driven by Andrew Snarey, 25, of Aliquippa, went off the road as it descended a hill.

The truck struck several trees, flipped over and came to rest on its roof.

Snarey was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a report in the Beaver Countian, Snarey was a part-time police officer with the Baden, Conway and Harmony Police Departments.

George Snarey, 60, of Carnegie, and Jeffrey Kramer, 28, of McDonald, were also killed in the crash.

Todd Kosenina, 42, was flown to an Erie hospital with moderate injuries.
