GEORGES TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Three people were flown to local hospitals after an accident in Fayette County Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened on Walnut Hill Road in Georges Township around 1 p.m. when a car and an SUV collided head on.

The drivers of both vehicles were air-lifted to the hospital, as was a 16-year-old boy who was riding in the car.

There is no word on their conditions at this time.

Two other passengers, one from the car, and one from the SUV, are expected to be okay.
