Horse Euthanized After Becoming Stuck In Ravine

FINLEYVILLE (KDKA) — A horse that became stuck down a ravine has been euthanized.

This happened in Finleyville, Washington County, along Stone Church Road.

It’s not clear how the horse ended up in the ravine.

Emergency crews from Finleyville, Peters Township, North Strabane and Pleasant Hills spent hours trying to save the horse.

Finleyville Fire Chief Jeff Thomas says the horse injured itself after trying to escape.
