Man Arrested In Connection With Tarentum Shooting
WILKINSBURG (KDKA) - A Wilkinsburg man wanted for shooting another man in the head last week, has now been arrested.
According to police, Joseph Ntoko has been arraigned on charges of criminal attempt, aggravated assault, robbery and gun violations.
The shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Roup Avenue and Ormand Street. Investigators said neighbors reported hearing as many as four gunshots.
The 23-year-old victim was flown to the hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the victim and suspect may have been involved "in a possible drug transaction involving a large quantity of marijuana."
