PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Pitt rose to No. 15 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 14 in the Coaches Poll after another undefeated week.

The Panthers powered their way past Duquesne in the City Game at Consol Energy Center Wednesday, 80-69. They followed that up with a 61-56 win at Tennessee Saturday.

Pitt (7-1) is now the fifth-highest ranked Big East team. The others are Syracuse (No. 3), Louisville (No. 5), UConn (No. 9) and Marquette (No. 11).

The Panthers return to action tonight against Virginia Military Institute at 7 p.m. The game can be heard live on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN.
