Sex Offenders Arrested For Violating Parole

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two convicted sex offenders are back behind bars this morning after sheriff's deputies caught up with them within hours of each other for allegedly violating the conditions of their probation or parole.

The men were under supervision when they were accused of violating the conditions of their probation or parole.

Joseph McCoy, 36, was convicted on charges of indecent assault of a minor under 13 years old and corruption of minors. Authorities say he violated conditions of probation/parole by failing to register as a sex offender with state police. Officers arrested the North Side man at his girlfriend's apartment.

Matthew Frohman was being supervised on a charge of statutory rape. Pittsburgh police filed new charges against him for allegedly using a stun gun twice on a woman. Frohman, who is from the Arlington area, was arrested at his parents' home.

Both men are now being held without bond.
