LUZERNE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Authorities in Fayette County are investigating after fire engulfed an abandoned home late Tuesday night in Luzerne Township.

The blaze started around 10 p.m. in the 200-block of Zubaks Road.

Fire crews say no one was living in the home and the electricity was turned off.

Also, investigators said this is the third time the home has caught fire.

Last summer in Luzerne Township, authorities ruled a string of fires there as arson. But a former volunteer firefighter was reportedly charged in those incidents.

The investigation into the latest fire continues.

Officials say no injuries were reported.
