Woodley Doubtful For Tonight

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Steelers linebacker Lamarr Woodley is doubtful for tonight's game against Cleveland with a hamstring injury.

Woodley injured his hamstring against New England and missed three weeks, returning Sunday against Cincinnati. Woodley felt a tweak in his hamstring in the first half against the Bengals, left the game and did not return.

It appears the Steelers are content to likely sit Woodley against Cleveland (4-8) to try and get him back to 100 percent health for next week's game at San Francisco (10-2).

Other injury news:

  • Wide receiver Arnaz Battle (hamstring), linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring), running back Jonathan Dwyer (foot), tackle Chris Hoke (neck) and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (foot) have all been ruled out for tonight.
  • Linebacker Quinton Spears (hamstring) and safety T.J. Ward (foot) are both listed out for the Browns. Safety Mike Adams (shoulder), running back Peyton Hillis (hip) and offensive lineman Tony Pashos (ankle) are all listed as questionable.
