Steelers’ Harrison Spreads Holiday Cheer To Kids

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Steelers have the weekend off following their win over the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night, so some of the players are using their free time to spread a little holiday cheer.

The second annual James Harrison Family Foundation’s “Brunch with Santa” was held on Saturday morning.

Oddly enough, this spirit of giving is a result of Harrison’s hard-nosed play on the football field.

“This started from me getting my fines actually last year, and I wanted to start a foundation to begin with, but this kind of jump started the support that the fans gave me from the situation that I was going through,” said Harrison. “[I’ve got to] smile, it’s for the kids. It’s easy to smile when there’s children.”

The foundation helps children with disabilities.

    Who is that guy?

  2. Devil's Advocate says:

Hopefully, this thug has more than just this weekend off as I feel he should be suspended a minimum of one game after the hit on McCoy Thursday. This clown just doesn’t seem to get it, maybe banning him for the remainder of the season will be what is needed to make him see the light.

    1. Dan says:

When McCoy tucked the ball to start running, he was no longer a protected qb. The penalty was a bad call.

So that makes it O.K. for Harrison to head hunt? I will guarantee that if someone, say, like Ray Lewis had a history of leading with the helmet, and he had the same type of hit on Roethlisberger, you’d be calling for a huge suspension, right?

U mite want to learn more about football before you start talking out your ass there. he will get fined for the hit but not suspended.
