Report: NFL Considering Ban For Harrison
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Steelers linebacker James Harrison could receive both a fine and a suspension for a hit on Browns quarterback Colt McCoy Thursday night.
Schefter cites an unnamed NFL source, who says Harrison could be banned for as many as two games along with a suspension. No player has been suspended for player safety violations.
Harrison was fined $125,000 last season for illegal hits and his history suggests the NFL will rule strictly on the hit.
