Toddler Dies After Getting Tangled In Blanket
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police are investigating a tragic accident that claimed the life of a little boy on the North Side over the weekend.
Authorities say Lorenzo Donaldson, 2, apparently got tangled in a blanket that his family was using as a curtain at their home on Chicago Street in Northview Heights on Sunday.
Police say the boy was home with his family when his three-year-old sister found him and alerted the mother who called 911.
Emergency crews say the little boy was unresponsive when they arrived.
The toddler was taken to Children's Hospital where he died.
The investigation is ongoing.
