Homewood Fire May Have Started In Attic

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Authorities say they believe a fire at a house in Homewood early this morning may have started in the attic.

The fire started between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. at a home in the 7400-block of Race Street.

Officials at the scene say three people were home when the fire began, but no injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

The Red Cross says they are assisting three adults following the fire.
