PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — An accident caused some heavy backups early this morning in Downtown Pittsburgh.

A car and truck collided along Crosstown Boulevard near the Liberty Bridge and the Boulevard of the Allies after 6:30 a.m.

According to emergency officials, the woman who was driving the car was alert and conscious when crews arrived on the scene.

There’s no word yet on what caused the crash, but it did backup traffic in that area for a time.
