Tony Dorsett Will Help Pitt Through Coaching Search In Any Way Possible

PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Former Pitt football great Tony Dorsett joined Joe Starkey, Josh Miller and Colin Dunlap on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about what's going on at Pitt, and his recent suggestion that he'd help coach the team in the upcoming bowl game.

Dorsett called what Todd Graham did to the team "tragic and distasteful," and he feels bad for the players, as well as the incoming recruits.

When it comes to the job Steve Pederson is doing, Dorsett said he has his back up against the wall after the way the last two head coaching hires have gone.

We got into Graham a little deeper, and Dorsett said there were some signs that Graham was capable of doing what he did, but the former head coach was able to fool a lot people, himself included.

Dorsett said he'll do whatever he can to help the team leading up to the bowl game; and despite not being a coach, would do whatever he could if asked to help out.

We wrapped things up with Dorsett getting his thoughts on Rushel Shell, and whether or not he has talked to him since Graham left.
