CASTLE SHANNON (KDKA) — Hazmat crews are checking out a strange odor that is making people feel sick.

This is happening at the Sports Medicine and Joints on Mount Lebanon Boulevard in Castle Shannon.

Three employees were there at the time, but no patients.

A similar situation happened a few weeks ago, but firefighters determined it wasn’t hazardous.

Crews didn’t detect anything hazardous tonight.

They did take water samples from below an elevator shaft to see if the water draining from the outside may be contaminated.
