PennDOT Crews Treat Roads For Black Ice
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Road crews have been out all night treating roads and preparing for what was supposed to be the region's first taste of winter.
Black ice is a major concern due to the amount of rain that moved through the area over the past 24 hours along with falling temperatures.
PennDOT crews have been out all night treating the roadways.
However, drivers are being advised to take it slow during their commute Wednesday morning.
Drivers should be especially careful on bridges, overpasses and ramps, which would freeze first.
