PETERS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — In Washington County, neighbors say they’ve been told by Peters Township police are keeping a close eye on their neighborhood after vandals when on a spray-painting spree.

Much of the graffiti on houses and vehicles is profane and vulgar. About 15 to 20 homes were targeted.

“This stuff usually doesn’t happen in this area,” Deidra Dubbs said. “It’s just a shame.”

Another target of the vandals was the home and shed owned by Darlene Barner.

“I’m upset, but you know, what can you do?” she said. “It hurts you to see somebody doing this to your house and then you get scared and you don’t know what’s going to happen next.”

No one has been arrested.

Neighbors say they think teens are behind it.
