Suspect Sought In Greene Co. Pedestrian Accident

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A woman was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Pittsburgh after state police say she was hit by a vehicle and dragged outside of a bar in Greene County.

Investigators say the accident happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday on Pit Gas Road just outside of Ozy's Bar in Jefferson Township.

According to state police, the woman was walking when she was hit, and then she was dragged about 100 feet. Authorities say the suspect's vehicle fled the scene.

The woman was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

State police say they are looking for the suspect.
