4-1-Zoo: Panther Reaction
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — No. 22 Pitt dropped its third game in a row Sunday to Cincinnati, 66-63.
The Panthers are now 11-4 overall and 0-2 in Big East Conference play. After the game, players and coach Jamie Dixon attributed most of their struggles to turnovers.
Despite a large advantage in rebounds, Pitt turned the ball over 17 times. It allowed Cincinnati to survive the rebounding margin and compete despite missing several players because of suspensions issued after a brawl against Xavier earlier in the month.
The Bearcats had little bench to work with but got key contributions from guards Sean Kilpatrick (19 points) and Jaquon Parker (21 points).
Here's what Dixon, forward Nasir Robinson and guard Ashton Gibbs said after the game...
