PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) — What’s up with all the praying in football lately? What’s the big deal about “Tebowing?” If both teams ask God for a win, which team does he choose?

KDKA AM’s Larry Richert talks to Duquesne University’s Father Naos McCool about God, sports and motivating a sports team.

“Tim [Tebow] and football players have a wonderful gift. It’s important that they thank God for that gift every day,” said Fr. McCool. “You see, football players do very, very well. They get big salaries, they have nice cars… they get fine perks, but you see, it all boils down to one thing in the end. There’s no difference between them and all of their skills than any other person.”
