STEELERS HUDDLE "Heinz Red Zone Recipe": Sunday Night Pork Chops

Ingredients:
6 bone-in thick cut pork chops (about 8 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 14-ounce bottle Heinz Tomato Ketchup Blended with Balsamic Vinegar
4 tablespoons dried mustard
2 cups water
1 cup brown sugar
2 sweet onions, diced
2 green peppers, diced

Preparation:
1. In a pan, add olive oil and butter and brown the pork chops until slightly golden brown. Season to taste with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

2. In a medium pot, combine the Heinz Ketchup Blended with Balsamic Vinegar, dried mustard, water and brown sugar. Heat to a simmer and cook until slightly reduced and thickened.

3. In an ovenproof ceramic baking dish, place the pork chops on the bottom as closely together as possible. Ladle prepared sauce over pork chops. Top with diced onions and green bell pepper.

4. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue to bake for another 15 minutes (until the sauce is thickened and the chops are very tender).

Serves: 6
