Man In Custody After Overnight Standoff In Sheraden

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A standoff ended peacefully at a home in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood overnight.

Police and the SWAT Team surrounded the house on Vinton Street just after 1 a.m.

Officials say a man with a gun barricaded himself in the house.

After three and a half hours, police were able to take him into custody.

He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
