Letter: Canon-McMillan Students Approached By Stranger

CANONSBURG (KDKA) — There’s a warning for parents in a local school district.

A letter was sent to parents in the Canon-McMillan district telling them about an incident Monday near First Street School.

Officials say two elementary school students were stopped by an older man in a green pick-up truck with a broken rear window.

The man said he needed help with something in his truck.

The students never got into the truck and they were not hurt.
