Allegheny County Most Wanted Suspect Arrested In Johnstown

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Another one of Allegheny County's Most Wanted fugitives is back in custody after being tracked down in Johnstown.

According to the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, 30-year-old Joseph Nesbitt of Tarentum was wanted for parole violations in connection with a 2008 guilty plea on several charges including burglary and criminal trespass.

Authorities say Nesbitt was originally charged in connection with the theft of copper from vacant houses and thefts from motor vehicles in Tarentum.

A warrant was issued for his arrest in November.

The Sheriff's Office reports that an email tip led to Nesbitt's arrest Tuesday night by police in Johnstown.

After being taken into custody, Nesbitt was being held in the Cambria County Jail while waiting to be transported back to Allegheny County.
