2nd Victim In Fayette Co. Crash Died From Trauma

CONNELLSVILE (KDKA) – The cause of death for the second victim in a fatal Fayette County crash has been determined.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the medical examiner determined that 14-year-old Tayler Darrell died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head and trunk.

According to State Police, the accident happened on Breakneck Road in Connellsville Friday night.

Dawnielle Victor, 12, of South Connellsville, was pronounced dead after the crash.

State Police said Victor's mother lost control of their car on the snow-covered road and was struck by a pickup truck.

The mother was last listed in fair condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
