Kris Letang: I'm Ready To Go

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Penguins held one final practice in Pittsburgh before leaving for New York.

They face the Rangers at Madison Square Garden Thursday.

Defenseman Kris Letang practiced for the second straight day and he's hoping to play.

"I know I'm ready to go," he said. "I've been resting. I've been doing some treatment with different guys and I'm 100 percent confident. Otherwise, I wouldn't be on the ice."

Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said there's a chance Letang could play.

"He's been feeling good. He's progressed to some difficult skating on his own to get conditioning I think which he's been able to do and getting back with the team and really only had the two practices – he'll be with us on the ice tomorrow morning again," Bylsma said. "Definitely hopeful that he'll be in games in the remaining games we have left."
