SHADYSIDE (KDKA) – Six street robberies in Shadyside over the last couple of weeks have residents and business owners on edge.

The most recent incident happened Saturday when two men with guns robbed a couple on Rosary Way.

The Shadyside Community Coalition is working with police to raise awareness.

“I still feel very comfortable here. It’s not keeping me in. It’s just what we tell people all the time, whether there are incidents or not, you have to be careful and you have to be aware of your surroundings,” Susan McGinty said.

Pittsburgh Police have added undercover officers to the case to try to catch the robbers.
