Residency Investigation May Lead To Job Cuts In Penn Hills

PENN HILLS (KDKA) -- Jobs may be on the line in Penn Hills.

Sources say a residency investigation may lead to several cuts.

Affected employees could include police, paramedics and municipal workers.

One employee tells KDKA there was a meeting with attorneys Friday morning.

That employee and another person were told not to report to work Monday.

Police Chief Howard Burton says "There was a meeting. I cannot comment on this. It's ongoing through the manager's office. They are still in discussions."

Municipal Manager Mohammed Raya says he cannot comment on personnel matters.
