Family Portrait With Former CEO Of Allegheny Ludlum Steel
PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) -- KDKA Radio's Rob Pratte continues his family portrait series with Dick Simmons, the former CEO of Allegheny Ludlum Corp. and now a adjunct professor of Business Management at Carnegie Mellon University.
Mr. Simmons' career started when he graduated from MIT in 1953 and took a job at Allegheny Ludlum as a research metallurgist at a plant in Brackenridge making $338 a month.
Mr. Simmons is also passionate about the symphony. He gave the largest private gift ever to the PSO.
