PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – The Port Authority of Allegheny County is planning another round of service cuts, including several Park-N-Rides.

One of those is a 600 space lot in Moon, which would be eliminated if these cuts go through, and coincidentally (or not coincidentally, depending on who you ask) is in State Sen. John Pippy’s┬ádistrict, who is on the Senate Transportation Committee.

Is this a ploy by get Sen. Pippy to get public transportation funding from the state?

KDKA-AM’s Larry and John talk to Sen. Pippy about whether he will do something about the Port Authority cuts, and also reveals that the funding problems may be Allegheny County’s fault.
