PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – The Port Authority of Allegheny County is planning another round of service cuts, including several Park-N-Rides.

One of those is a 600 space lot in Moon, which would be eliminated if these cuts go through, and coincidentally (or not coincidentally, depending on who you ask) is in State Sen. John Pippy’s district, who is on the Senate Transportation Committee.

Is this a ploy by get Sen. Pippy to get public transportation funding from the state?

KDKA-AM’s Larry and John talk to Sen. Pippy about whether he will do something about the Port Authority cuts, and also reveals that the funding problems may be Allegheny County’s fault.
