2nd McKees Rocks Home Invasion Suspect Arrested

AVALON (KDKA) — The second suspect in an armed home invasion in McKees Rocks has been arrested.

Rodney Lee Grant, Jr., 21, is accused of robbing Parker Gresh’s home on Gardner Avenue Monday, along with 22-year-old Cameron Russell.

Russell was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Franklin Park and charged with robbery, burglary, theft and making terroristic threats.

Grant and Russell allegedly stole an assault rifle, two hand grenades and ammunition from the home.

When police searched Grant’s home on Marie Avenue in Avalon, they found an automatic pistol allegedly used in the robbery.

Investiagators have not yet recovered the weapons stolen during the home invasion.

Grant is facing a list of charges including robbery, burglary and criminal conspiracy.
