Incoming Pitt QB Chad Voytik Excited To Sign Official Letter Of Intent

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Recently Signed Pitt QB recruit Chad Voytik joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about finally making his commitment to Pitt official today.

Voytik got his letter of intent to Pitt one minute after the signing period opened, and said he was excited to make his commitment to both the university and new head coach Paul Chryst.

Throughout all of the head coaching uncertainty surrounding the Pitt program during key times in the recruiting process, Voytik was one of the key components in keeping this recruiting class together, and told us how he talked to the other big recruit coming in and that they all agreed to stick together and make this class a championship caliber one for Pitt.

Penn State made a push for Voytik once Bill O'Brien signed on to be head coach in Happy Valley, and Voytik told us what that conversation was like, and whether or not he ever heard from Todd Graham after he left Pitt trying to lure him to Arizona State.

We wrapped things up with Voytik discussing the opportunity he has been told he'll be given to compete for playing time right away, and what that means for him.
