Steelers RB Coach Burned In Fire Starts Rehabilitation

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Steelers RB Coach Kirby Wilson remains in serious, but stable condition after suffering burns during a fire in his Butler County home.

On January 6, Wilson sustained burns on 30 to 50 percent of his body as flames ripped through his townhouse in Seven Fields.

Ryan Scarpino, a spokesman for the Steelers, said in a statement Wilson has started physical rehabilitation.

He is still in the burn center at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

"The Wilson family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support," the statement concluded.
