MOUNT LEBANON (KDKA) – Three people were examined for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a Mount Lebanon apartment overnight.

The fire was reported around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday morning at an apartment located at 53 Academy Avenue in Mount Lebanon. Authorities say it was confined to the bedroom of one unit.

The individuals were checked out, but reportedly refused hospital treatment.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
