Market District Fondue Recipes
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and if you like chocolate, be sure to try out these two fondue recipes from the Giant Eagle Market District today!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fondue
Serves: 6
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups semi-sweet Belgian chocolate chips
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp Madagascar Bourbon vanilla
Directions:
1. Place chocolate in a metal bowl.
2. Heat milk, sugar and peanut butter in a pan until simmering and sugar is dissolved.
3. Pour milk mixture over chocolate and whisk until smooth. Whisk in vanilla.
4. Transfer to fondue pot.
Chocolate Kahlua Mocha Fondue
Serves: 6
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 12 oz. semi-sweet Belgian chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp. instant espresso powder
- 1 oz. Kahlúa liquor
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Place chocolate in a large metal bowl.
2. Heat cream in a small pan over medium heat until steaming. Add Kahlúa, espresso powder, and salt and stir until combined.
3. Pour cream mixture over chocolate and stir until combined.
