SQUIRREL HILL (KDKA) – One person has been arrested in connection with a pedestrian accident in Squirrel Hill Tuesday morning.

According to officials at the scene, the accident happened in the 4400-block of Browns Hill Road around 12:30 a.m.

Initially, the driver fled the scene, but returned some time later.

The vehicle suffered some damage to the front end and the windshield. It was also towed away from the scene.

The pedestrian suffered only minor leg injuries in the accident.

As for the driver, they have been arrested, but charges have not been released at this time.
