Armed Robber Sought In Clairton

CLAIRTON (KDKA) -- Police from surrounding communities were in Clairton after an armed robbery at a convenience store that's been robbed several times.

Police said a man dressed in black with a black mask wearing gloves and armed a handgun robbed Dee's Minimart in the 500-block of St. Clair Avenue Thursday night.

He fled with the cash. There no customers in store and no shots fired.

Police used two dogs to track down suspect in addition to setting up perimeter, but the suspect managed to escape.
