Excitement Growing For Next Powerball Drawing

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — This Saturday’s Powerball drawing is attracting a lot of attention.

The jackpot rolls to $310 million, which is the third largest in the game’s history, thanks in part to the new $2 ticket price.

If someone in Pennsylvania wins it, it’ll be the biggest jackpot win for any game in state history.

Tickets will be sold until 9:59 p.m. Saturday.

Lottery officials are advising people to get their tickets early in order to avoid any last-minute rushes.

The current jackpot has been growing since Dec. 28, 2011.
