PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — West Virginia athletic director Oliver Luck checks in with Vinnie & Cook on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan.

He admits a bit of melancholy about losing the Backyard Brawl for a while, but he looks forward to restarting the rivalries with Pitt in all sports in the near future.

Luck explains why West Virginia decided to force their exit from the Big East, and why road trips to Lubbock and Austin are more attractive than the alternative of staying in a new Big East.

He also assesses Dana Holgorsen’s first year running the football program, and reports on how beer sales at home football games fared.
