McKees Rocks Fire Considered Suspicious
MCKEES ROCKS (KDKA) -- Officials say a fire in McKees Rocks appears to be suspicious.
Flames were seen coming from the house in the 100-block of Chartiers Avenue just before noon Tuesday.
Fire crews quickly knocked down the flames.
Investigators believe someone set the fire in three separate areas – the living room, kitchen and on a mattress.
No one was home at the time of the fire, but there were two dogs inside the house.
A puppy in the basement survived. However, another dog in the home died.
