PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – ROOT Sports studio analyst, Jay Caufield joined the Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to break down the Penguins’ win over the New York Rangers on Tuesday.
Jay called the win “a complete game.” But, said that the timing of the win was as, or maybe more, important than they way the team played.
Paul Martin has been a bit of a scapegoat this season for the Penguins. Following a good game against the Rangers, Jay thinks that consistency will be the key for Martin. He can’t have any break downs, and needs to try to sustain a solid level of play.
