PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Strong winds have caused power outages across the area.

Allegheny Power has approximately 1,100 customers without power.

Duquesne Light is reporting 1,600 outages scattered throughout the area.

The Mall at Robinson is also closing for the night.

The mall lost power around 4 p.m. and it’s not expected to be back on until sometime overnight.

At this point, the mall does plan to reopen at its normal time Saturday.
