PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — It’s a rainy day in Pittsburgh and thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected to move through.
Heavy rains and some thunderstorms have affected the area already, and more will follow later this afternoon and early evening.
KDKA Meteorologist Dennis Bowman says temperatures have been sluggish to move upward, but warmer air is moving in, taking temperatures up into the low 60s for the Pittsburgh area.
Bowman says we should look for thunderstorms to redevelop in the late afternoon.
Some of these can contain heavy rain and potentially damaging wind gusts.
Storm activity will diminish to a passing shower or two late tonight with a low of 42.
