Bucs: Neil Walker Out With Lower Back Tightness
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Pirates second baseman Neil Walker will sit out today's game against Toronto because of lower back tightness.
The Pirates and Blue Jays play at 1:05 p.m.
Walker said his absence is just precautionary, but the news raises an eyebrow because he missed time last season because of a lower-back injury. He said he's feeling OK and wants to make sure he's not taxing his body too much in spring training.
Walker is listed as day-to-day and is expected to sit out for two to three days.
Josh Harrison will play second base against Toronto.
