PENN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — An apparent police chase has come to an end in Westmoreland County.

The pursuit began in Swissvale Friday night and involved officers from the City of Pittsburgh, State police and eastern suburbs in Allegheny County.

The chase came to an end on Meadowbrook Road in Penn Township.

The suspect’s vehicle went over a hill and into a tree. The same happened to one of the police cars. A Swissvale officer is being checked out.

the suspect is from Greensburg and he has multiple warrants for his arrest.

There’s no word on what prompted the chase.
