KNOXVILLE (KDKA) – Police are investigating after one person was injured in a Knoxville shooting early Saturday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, the shooting happened around 2 a.m. on Charles Street.

A woman was shot in the leg and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

There is no word on her condition or if anyone has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
