PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The NCAA Tournament is coming to CONSOL Energy Center this week.

And West Virginia University is getting the chance to play close to home.

Bob Huggins and his team had an excited reaction Sunday over getting the chance to play in Pittsburgh as the 10th seed in the East Region.

The Mountaineers will be up against the No. 7 seed, Gonzaga, and they have a long way to travel to get to Pittsburgh.

There will be four games on Thursday, and then two more on Saturday at CONSOL Energy Center.

The No. 1-seeded Syracuse will get 16th-seeded UNC-Asheville.

The winner there will play the winner of No. 8 Kansas and No. 9 Southern Miss.

In addition to the WVU-Gonzaga game, 2nd-seeded Ohio State will play No. 15 Loyola of Maryland. All of these games are set for Thursday.
