Bucs: Pirates Game-Day Broadcast Schedule Announced
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — The Pittsburgh Pirates, in conjunction with their flagship radio station, Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN, announced its game day broadcast schedule Monday.
Former Major Leaguer and Upper St. Clair native Kevin Orie will be paired with host Dan Zangrilli for game-day shows before and after each Pirates broadcast.
Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN will air an hour-long pregame show before each game along with an hour-long post-game show following the completion of each game. The first show is April 5 — opening day for the Pirates 2012 regular season.
Orie spent several years in Major League baseball as a player for the Chicago Cubs and Florida Marlins. Zangrilli spent two years as a commentator for the Altoona Curve and has served in various roles for Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN, NewsRadio 1020 KDKA and the MSA Sports Network.
Pirates broadcasters (Greg Brown, Tim Neverett, Steve Blass, Bob Walk, and John Wehner) will continue to be featured during the pre and post game shows, as well as calling all the action during the games.
